Rapeseed
Rapeseed is a very common oilseed crop (especially in the right-bank forest-steppe).

Rapeseeds contain 48-52% oil, which is used in paint and varnish, soap, food (margarine) and other industries.

Winter rapeseed is also grown for green fodder, and cake (after steaming) is fed to livestock. Rapeseed is effectively used to make biofuels.
Interesting facts
01
Components released from rapeseed have applications in the cosmetic industry for the production of soaps, anti-aging creams and moisturizing lotions.
Interesting facts
02
Two types of resin are extracted from rapeseed, which is used in the production of second-grade ink.
Interesting facts
03
Rapeseed is not found in the wild in nature; it was obtained from crossing cabbage from colza (therefore, rapeseed belongs to the cabbage family).
SPECIFICATIONS
Winter rapeseed among the oilseeds of cabbage families ranks first in terms of oil content, its seeds contain 48-52%, protein - 16-29%, fiber - 6-7%, carbohydrates - 17%.
GENERAL TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Name the packaging that is prepared and supplied, depending on the mass parts of erucic acids and glucosinolates, they are divided into three classes separately from table 1.

  • Seeds of rapsakuchen are recognized: of the highest class - for food purposes; Class I - for food purposes in industrial processing; Class II - for technical purposes.

  • The base rates established by these mailings for use in packages that are prepared and shipped are shown in Table 2.

  • The generalized norms for filling the prepared package are indicated in table 3.

  • Restrictive norms for rapeseed supplied for industrial processing are indicated in tables 4.

  • The saturation of rapeseed, recognized for harvesting and deliveries, may be unobtrusive, in a healthy person, have the color and smell inherent in the normal sense of smell of rapeseed (without musty, moldy and off-flavours).

  • The capacity of pesticides, toxic elements and mycotoxins in a pack is not indicated in the rechecking allowable levels established by the MBTiSN No. 5061 [1] and DSanPiN 8.8.1.2.3.4-000 [2], tabs in Table 5.
Winter rapeseed is rightly called the “first money” of agrarians. In the vast majority of cases, the crop of this crop is sold immediately after harvesting. That is why the economic component of farms directly depends on the effective cultivation of winter rapeseed.
* Requirements for quality indicators of exported rape seeds are established in the agreement (contract) between the supplier and the buyer.

Spring rapeseed among the oilseeds of the cabbage family ranks first in terms of oil content, its seeds contain 35-45% of slightly drying oil (iodine number 101), protein - 20-26%, fiber - 6-7%, carbohydrates - 17-18% . Oil from spring rapeseed has excellent nutritional qualities, and is also widely used in various sectors of the national economy.

Rapeseed oil is consumed in its natural form, and it is the best raw material for the production of sandwich oil, margarine, mayonnaise, spices, and confectionery.
